That was their answer to Brylcreem's "A little dab'll do ya'" ad campaign.

I guess you and Ron weren't into hair-care products in those days.

First this from the Confluence with brief explaination - not sure I get their meaning.

the graphic is my heading graphic on Skydancing showing the interplay between ladies justice and liberty.   I never miss an opportunity to use a great graphic that gets across the point of what something (like a ruling) should be.  That is especially true when we seem to be increasingly losing both justice and liberty, let alone the important links and interplay between them

And second this item which has many old Navy salts pissin blood.  Example of media's take below and after that, Navy's.

SWORDLESS SAILORS

Graduating midshipmen of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis are being told in writing to leave at home or in their vehicles all "ceremonial swords" and anything else "that might be considered a weapon or a threat by screeners" for Friday's outdoor commencement ceremonies featuring an address by President Barack Obama.

Inside the Beltway has obtained the academy's list of prohibited items for this year's graduation exercises, which, besides ceremonial swords, includes umbrellas.

WTF is up witht the secret service and their severe paranoia?

Civil Discourse - ERA - A Mother President - Women's Rights - Primary Reform

males "enjoy" seeing women "getting it on" but there is more in the image than that, IMO.  Liberty is huge, and overpowering a small blind woman whose only defense appears to be her sword, that she cannot reach and the scales which she might bop Liberty on the head with if she weren't bent out of shape and out of balance.

Just too many possibities in this image to process.  A very complex message.

Obama must be suffering from a extreme case of paranoia for the Secret Service to insist that the graduates leave their swords at home.  What did he think....that one of them was going to run him through with one of them?    That is the obvious inference being made by Secret Service.  These men and women that have worked so hard to graduate from Annapolis should have felt insulted to be asked to come to graduation sans their swords.

and I'm not even Navy.  I wonder if all of this is just to further the racial tension that his campaign started and continues.

...make their own security rules?

But also that the Prez's guys can override SS.
